Warranty
If you have received an item that is found to be defective upon receipt please contact your customer service representative for an authorization to return the item for credit. If an item ceases to function properly after a period of use please call your Tip Top Parts customer service representative to determine the warranty policy of the manufacturer of the item. We use the purchase date on an invoice to determine the warranty period. You must provide the following items for warranty.
A Dealer Warranty/ Product information Form must be filled out.
- Proof of Purchase ( end user)
- Tip Top Part Number
- Price
- Please specify the damage to the item
Warranty - Equipment
Warranty for equipment is issued and controlled by each Manufacturer. Tip Top Parts must follow these strict guidelines provided. For further information please contact your customer service representative.
Do not return defective equipment for warranty credit. Please call your sales representative first.
Warranty - Parts
If part is under warranty and repairable we would like the item repaired. If an item is not repairable we would like it returned to Tip Top for warranty assessment and credit if applicable.
Please Note Warranty does not cover the following items:
- Normal Wear
- Unreasonable use / damage
- Commercial use
- Damage resulting from an accident
- Bulbs, paper bags, filters, brush rollers and attachments
- Abuse
- Damage from improper repair or lack of maintenance
- Labor costs
- If the unit or part is past it’s warranty period (for date code specifics check with your customer service representative)
Returned Goods
All returned goods require a Return Goods Authorization form to be filled out with the following information. You must call a Tip Top Parts customer serviced representative who will issue you the RGA number to be recorded on the RGA Authorization Form. A copy of the RGA form and number must accompany the shipment back to Tip Top Parts.
- Invoice Number the item was Purchased on
- Invoice Date
- Tip Top Part Number
- Price
- Reason for return
All items must be new, in re-saleable condition (without stickers, price tags) & in original packaging. A minimum 25% re-stocking fees will be applied to all returned items. Goods should be returned by mail. We will not accept freight collect shipments unless authorized on a RGA. If goods are received back collect on our account freight will be charged back to the dealer.

Damaged Goods Received
If you have received a damaged item you must call a Tip Top Parts customer service representative and inform them of the damage within 48 hours of receiving the goods. An RGA must be obtained before any goods can be returned for credit. The following information is required:
- Invoice Number the item was Purchased on
- Invoice Date
- Tip Top Part Number
- Price
- Please specify the damage to the item
Merchandise will not be accepted under any conditions if the warranty period has expired.
RGA numbers expire 30 days after date of issue.
