Important message regarding our transportation policy for 2025

To optimize our operations and guarantee efficient service, here are the new measures that will come into effect:
New transportation conditions for PVC starting april 14^th, 2025

Billing per "bundle"

Each bundle, including 10 lengths of 90" or 60" PVC, will be charged $0.50 per length of PVC.

Customer-paid shipping:

• $0 to $1 249 (excluding PVC value and back orders, before taxes):
• A fee of $0.50 per PVC length applies.

Flat-rate shipping:

• The threshold for flat-rate shipping will now be $1,250 (excluding PVC value, back orders, and before taxes).
• A $35 Flat fee will apply per order.
• A fee of $0.50 per PVC length applies.

Prepaid shipping:

• Available for orders with a minimum value of $3,000 (excluding PVC value, back orders, and before taxes):
• PREMIUM Discount: Orders meeting the above conditions will receive a 5% discount on selected vacuum groups.
• A fee of $0.50 per PVC length applies (not included in the prepaid amount).

Out-of-stock item (back order)

• Shipping fees apply at all times.

Additional shipping conditions effective april 14th, 2025

In addition to these new measures, please note that all applicable surcharges imposed by the carrier will be re-invoiced, including but not limited to:

• Waiting time during delivery. 
• Absence of personnel to receive the shipment.
• Assistance required to unload the contents.
• Other specific fees imposed by the carrier.
• Depending on product availability at different warehouses.

These fees will be re-invoiced according to the carrier’s terms.

Plan ahead to avoid additional costs.

We encourage you to anticipate deliveries to avoid these additional fees and ensure that the necessary personnel or equipment is available at the time of receipt. 

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation in implementing this new policy, which will benefit all our partners.

No freight program is available to North West Territories, Yukon or Nunavut.

Exclusion items include built-in pipe and oversized cartons. Any and all charges associated with the shipping of pipe are the dealers responsibility.

Surcharges related to the below list of items are not included in prepaid freight and will be charged back to the dealer.

• Cubing
• Beyond or Rural charges
• Residential Delivery Charges
• Saturday Delivery
• Express Cheque or COD charges
• Same Day delivery
• Curbside residential
• Tail Gate charges
• Wait time charges
• Any additional charges associated with the shipping of pipe
• Inside Delivery

These charges will be identified where possible before your shipment leaves, however the surcharges will be charged back to the dealer account regardless. Our Customer Service Team will work closely with each dealer account to offer ways to minimize any freight charges to your account.

Freight Claims

All damaged freight must be noted on the carrier waybill at time of delivery. Please immediately notify Tip Top of any damage and the waybill number of the shipment it occurred on. Please fax or email a copy of the waybill stating the damage.
